Bridal Photoshoot part 2.. Steve behind the glass

Not every husband can say that they shot their wife today, but that is exactly what I (Steve) did.

We call this shot "Scarlett".

It was shot at Bella Photo Studio downtown Edmonton, using a Nikon D3 equipped with a 24-70 F2.8, a single LR7 Lightrein light with a medium softbox and a 40 degree Light-tool egg crate positioned at 45 degrees to the subject (Angelica). To correct the extreme shadows on the right Debbie Boccabella suggested the addition of a large white reflector opposite the light.

Bridal Model Shoot

Angelica was out all day yesterday while I watched the kids. She did a wedding dress/model shoot for our site. Looks like it worked out nice. Good looking people and nice cloths makes our job easy. From what I have heard, everything went really well and everyone involved worked great together. Next week I get to use the camera and Angelica will be the subject.

A desert from Paris. It looks yummy. The waiter was thinking we were nuts, but then gave us his card.. he also was a Wedding Photographer... Funny!
